Lodging at Come Away Retreat

Two great options, both with private entrances and fully contained:

The Dogwood Suite

 and 

The Waterfall Room

The Dogwood Suite

  • Living and dining area -- large windows provide views (early and late) of deer, racoons, and many birds

  • Kitchenette -- with microwave, toaster oven, induction hot plate, coffee pot, and fridge

  • Bedroom -- with one double bed

  • Private bathroom  -- with walk-in-shower

The Waterfall Room

  • Hotel-style room -- 350 sq. ft.

  • Living and dining area

  • Two x-long twin beds

  • Full bath

  • Mini-fridge, microwave, toaster oven, coffee pot and dishes

  • Sound of waterfall lulls you to sleep

  • Sight of falling water makes sipping morning coffee in bed a delight!

The Details:

Linens are provided, but food is not.

          There are restaurants and grocery stores within 2 miles.

Wi-Fi is available, but cell phone service and television reception is limited.

          Local TV when leaves aren't too thick and wind isn't blowing.  DVD player provided.

Please, no pets (two cats on the premises), no smoking, and no alcohol/drugs.

Three acres of woods and forest with small pond (no fish), fire pit, picnic table, and bocce court.

Welcome to wander neighbor's wildflower fields, and walk the half-mile gravel road.

Chairs, single or grouped, are scattered in 14 spots for reading, meditation, and prayer.

"Retreat-worthy" reading material is available if requested.

Charges:

Day Retreats:  Individuals or a few are not charged.  Larger groups:  $20

Overnight Retreats:  Dogwood Suite  $50

                                 Waterfall Room   $30

                                 Weekly rates are available

                                 Pay by cash or check in advance or upon arrival -- no credit cards, please

                                 IMB active or retired missionaries stay at no charge

College-event lodging (e.g. home football game, graduation) is $250 per night for either room.

Hosts are Jim & Linda Rice, retired missionaries from Uganda and Kenya.
